POSITION:	Licensed School Nurse (Summer Programming)
HOURS:	9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
LOCATION:	Highlands Elementary
DATES:	July 7 - July 10 July 14 - July 17 July 21 - July 24
LICENSURE REQUIREMENT(S):	School Nurse license issued through the Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB), Registered Nurse license or Public Health Nurse license issued through the Minnesota Board of Nursing.
EXPERIENCE:	School health experience preferred.
RATE OF PAY:	The wage for this position is $45.00 per hour (Bachelors Degree), or $55.00 per hour (Master's Degree). This is a temporary position.
BENEFITS:	Eligible employees will participate in the state’s pension program, Teachers Retirement Association (TRA) or Public Employees Retirement Association (PERA). Leave benefits will be applied in accordance with Minnesota law.

Edina Public Schools is seeking applicants for a Health Services Associate position, starting June 12, 2025, to serve our extended school year programming.
           
POSITION:	Health Services Associate (HSA) - ESY
LOCATION:	Highlands Elementary School
DAILY SCHEDULE:	8:45am-12:15pm
DAYS PER YEAR:	Summer Only: June 12, June 16-18, June 23-26, July 7-10, July 14-17
RATE OF PAY:	The wage for this position varies based on qualifications and experience. Candidates without a Registered Nurse License through the Minnesota Department of Nursing will earn between $20.98 and $30.27 per hour. Candidates with a Registered Nurse License through the Minnesota Board of Nursing will earn between $28.78 and $33.69 per hour. New hires will typically start at the entry-level rate within the applicable wage range, while candidates with relevant experience may be eligible for a starting rate of up to $25.60 per hour (non-RN) or $32.67 per hour (RN). Wage decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis, considering the individual’s experience and the school district’s budget.

All employees participate in the state’s largest pension program, the Public Employees Retirement Association (PERA). Eligible employees also receive paid time off in accordance with the provisions outlined in the employee work agreement.
QUALIFICATIONS:	First Aid and CPR Certification is Required. High school diploma required. School health experience preferred.
