This program is designed to give Kindergarten bound students who attended JEH the additional support needed to prepare them for Kindergarten readiness. Students identified as needing additional academic support to prepare for Kindergarten are invited to participate. Students are selected through a combination of GOLD data review and teacher recommendation. The learning focus will be on Literacy, Math, and Social Emotional Learning.

Role Responsibility:
Lead instruction for up to 12 students using a modified Creative Curriculum. Gather baseline and end-of-summer data using the JEH Data Collection Tool. Classes may include up to 2 inclusion students. A paraprofessional will support inclusion students. Program Details: Orientation Dates: June 12 & 13 (Thursday & Friday)
Program Dates: June 16, 2025 - July 17, 2025 (no school June 19 and July 4th)
Days of the Week: Monday - Thursday
Hours: 8:30 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Location: JEH Early Childhood Center
Stipend: $3,800 ($2,300 student contact hours, $400 Orientation, $700 Daily Planning, and $400 Professional Responsibilities)
