- Work-Based Learning Development
- Establish and maintain student internship and apprenticeship opportunities aligned with the District’s Work-Based Learning (WBL) Program.
- Match student interests and academic goals with industry trends and workforce needs.
- Build and sustain a diverse network of businesses, unions, nonprofits, and trade professionals to provide hands-on learning opportunities.
- Ensure a mix of local, regional, and national partnerships to create well-rounded career pathways.

- Student and Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with the school-based Work-Based Learning (WBL) coordinators to align student career goals with appropriate learning experiences.
- Support diverse student populations including Gifted/Talented and English Language Learners, ensuring equitable access to WBL programs.
- Provide training, resources, and guidance to school-based WBL coordinators, school staff, and community partners.
- Promote WBL programs through outreach and engagement efforts.

- Internship and Apprenticeship Coordination
- Oversee paid and unpaid student internships and apprenticeships.
- Partner with businesses to design meaningful, skill-building experiences.
- Guide students in understanding career pathways, required skills, and future opportunities.

- Program Administration and Data Management
- Track student progress, program performance and business engagement to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
- Track and integrate student career plans, including Advanced Learning Plans (ALPs), Gifted and Talented strengths, and Individual Career and Academic Plans (ICAPs)
- Train and support school-based WBL coordinators, business partners, and community organizations in using the WBL platform.
- Represent the WBL program on committees, including ICAP initiatives and Counselor Alignment Team efforts to ensure program alignment and implementation.

- Community and Business Engagement
- Represent the WBL program at community events, industry meetings, and workforce development initiatives.
- Develop partnership with a variety of organizations, including the Chamber of Commerce, Workforce Center, trade schools, unions, SWAP and alternative education groups.
- Deliver presentations, participate in committees, and foster business relationships to expand student opportunities.
- Serve as the primary contact for business and organizational partners, providing training, resources, and support for WBL program participation and related concerns.
