TITLE: Part-Time Elementary Paraprofessional
QUALIFICATIONS: Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying
- High School diploma required
- Meet one of the paraprofessional competency training requirements below:
- two years of post-secondary education coursework (48 college credits) or
- Highly Qualified Special Education Certificate through PDE or
- passing score on the Comprehensive Assessment of Paraprofessional Educators (CAPE) Test or
- posses the ability to obtain highly qualified status through educational opportunities provided within the timeline of the district
- Prior experience working with students with disabilities
- Must have obtained (or will obtain) valid PA Criminal, PA Child Abuse and FBI Criminal History Background Checks (use code 1KG6XN) within the last twelve (12) months.
REPORTS TO: Building Principal
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Ten (10) month position (part-time 25/hrs per week) - Hourly pay, work schedule, and other conditions of employment in accordance with current District applicable policies and the York Suburban Educational Support Personnel Association Agreement.
