    **Job Summary:**
    The Junior High Track Coaches will be responsible for developing and implementing training programs for student-athletes in grades 7-8. Some 6th graders will be on the team as well. The coaches will focus on enhancing the students' athletic skills, promoting teamwork, and fostering a positive environment.

    **Key Responsibilities:**
    - Plan and conduct daily practice sessions, focusing on skill development, conditioning, and teamwork.
    - Develop individualized training programs to meet the needs of each athlete.
    - Monitor and assess student-athlete progress and performance throughout the season.
    - Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and a positive attitude among athletes.
    - Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and school administration.
    - Organize and supervise participation in meets and competitions.
    - Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations.

    **Qualifications:**
    - Previous coaching or competitive experience in track and field is preferred.
    - Strong leadership and communication skills.
    - Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes.
    - Knowledge of track and field techniques and strategies.

    **Compensation:** $1,377.75 per position

    Carroll Jr. Sr. High School is seeking a full-time, licensed special education teacher.   This applicant must be licensed in Mild Intervention in the State of Indiana.  Additional licensure for Intense Disabilities or other specialized areas would be optimal, but not required.  

    Performance responsibilities include:
    1. Creates positive and respectful relationships with students, staff, parents, administrators and professional agencies who work on behalf of the student. 
    2. Works cooperatively with all stakeholders regarding the educational, social and personal needs of the student to implement their individual education plan.
    3. Teaches socially acceptable behavior, as determined from data sources such as student’s functional behavioral assessment, systematic observations and other quantitative and qualitative data sources.
    4. Completes necessary reporting and daily record keeping as required by corporation procedures.  Adjusts instructional techniques based on student progress.
    5. Develops, implements, monitors and evaluates Individual Educational Plans for each student on their caseload. 
    6. Provides specially designed instruction to address the instructional goals and objectives contained within each student's IEP.
    7. Provides lesson plans for paraprofessionals and provides ongoing supervision and mentoring to ensure the IEP is being appropriately implemented.  
    8. Coordinates students’ inclusion into general education classes and activities. Co-teaches or consults with general education teachers in a large group, small groups and leads pre-teaching and/or remedial groups based on student needs in the general education classroom.   
    9. Supports a variety of learning styles in instructional activities to ensure all students are actively engaged in meaningful learning experiences. 
    10. Performs educational assessments in accordance with the state standards, district policies, school programs and IEP provisions and accommodations.  
    11. Develops, implements, monitors and revises behavior intervention plans as required to support students for education success. 
    12. Provides consultation and leadership to the special education department, school support team and administration in the area of Special Education practices and procedures. 
    13. Follows guidelines and procedures set forth in the school handbook. 
    14. Complies with all corporation and state/federal reporting requirements within mandated timelines.
    15. Other duties as assigned by the district, building or special education administration.
