Job Summary:
Assist the special education teacher as directed. Encourage student success by following IEP goals accommodations in the regular education classroom as well as the behavior classroom. The willingness to attend classes or trainings to increase the understanding of Emotional Disorders. Ability to complete Medicaid detailed sheets as necessary. A passion for working with struggling students with a kind, compassionate, and caring attitude.
Requires two years of college, an AA degree, or successfully completed the ParaPro Assessment (Praxis Exam).
Must be willing to become MANDT trained at the first available training after employed by Twin Falls School District.
