Audiologist Essential Duties 
Hearing screenings - pure tone screening, tympanometry if needed, and otoacoustic emissions (OAE) screening as appropriate
Diagnostic Audiologic Evaluations
Auditory Processing Evaluations
Functional Listening Evaluation (FLE)
Distribute Classroom Auditory Distribution Systems (CADS) and/or personal remote microphone  
Instruct teacher/staff on how to use equipment and provide accommodations through inservice, in-person meeting or email
Attend Evaluation Team, IEP, or 504 meetings for students with hearing loss or auditory processing disorders
Communicate with IESDB and local audiology providers to ensure optimal care for our students


Minimum Requirements 
Masters or Doctoral degree in audiology
Idaho pupil services certification in audiology
Licensure from the Idaho Division of Occupational and Professional Licenses

• The TFSD offers paid internships

Qualifications
Master’s or Educational Specialist degree in school psychologist or be in your internship year
Meet Idaho state certification requirements
 
Essential Duties
Conduct appropriate evaluations for students in grades Preschool l- 12 experiencing adjustment, behavioral, and learning difficulties
Provide relevant information, and facilitating interaction between parents and appropriate school personnel
Assist the student through monitoring the effects of behavior management and remediation programs; conducting follow-up conferences regarding the needs of the student when moving between schools and districts; and by participating in placement and review meetings
Serve as a member of the special education team in serving and developing programs for students with special learning needs
Provide in-service training for district personnel
Manage and maintain relevant individual records
Assist teachers and parents in the interpretation of psychological data concerning their students and child
Assist teachers in the development of curriculum adaptations and classroom practices for students
Attend IEP and eligibility team meetings
Lead school teams through the threat assessment process
Perform other tasks and assume other responsibilities as the Superintendent and/or Board may deem necessary
