SAU 106 is seeking qualified candidates for all substitute roles in the Timberlane Regional School District buildings. Candidates should be flexible and willing to offer coverage where it is needed.

Substitute Teachers should have the ability to carry out a program of study prescribed in the lesson plans left by the classroom teacher. Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students. Guide the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals and objectives as indicated in the lesson plans for the lessons, units, or projects assigned.

RATES OF PAY

Substitute Teachers with two years of college/Non-Certified Teachers & Paraeducators $115 per day
Substitute Teachers that are NH Certified Educator or hold an Educator credential in another state or educators who held certification in the past and is no longer active. $135 per day
Substitute LNA - Must provide valid New Hampshire LNA license $130 per day
Substitute Custodian $17.00 per hour

As a substitute, you will assume all the daily responsibilities of the position that you are substituting, such as lunchroom duty, hall monitoring, etc., and perform other related duties as directed by the principal.  Substitutes are hired at will and there are no benefits associated with the position.

Candidate Requirements:
• Must successfully complete a criminal background check.
• Must upload Three Letters of Recommendation
• Must upload copies of transcripts to substitute for teachers (2 years of full time college coursework is required).
• Experience working with children strongly preferred.
