QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to read, write, and interpret written and oral instructions.
REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or GED
Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Any Individual holding the position of Food and Nutrition Technician will be responsible to meet all alcohol and drug screen policies and procedures, and to provide a drug free, healthful, and safe and secure work environment.
- Prepares and serves nutritional meals in an efficient manner.
- Maintains correct food temperatures, and follow the mandated guidelines.
- Assumes responsibility for serving meals on schedule and keeping the supply of food replenished regularly.
- Assumes responsibility for storage and disposal of unused food.
- Assist in daily clean up of kitchen, cafeteria, and serving areas according to District, DHEC, and other guidelines.
- Performs major cleaning of equipment and facility as scheduled by the Food and Nutrition Manager.
- All other duties as assigned.
