    JOB OPPORTUNITY
     
    JOB TITLE: Educational Services Program Specialist (2 Positions)
     
    SITE LOCATION OF POSITION: Education Service Center
     
    TERM/HOURS OF POSITION:  7.5 hours per day, 200 Days
     
    RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:  Under the supervision of the Educational Services administration this role provides ongoing training and support to instructional staff in evidenced based curriculum and instruction that aligns with district initiatives, ensures access to core curriculum materials, coordinates and trains on Federal and State testing mandates for California Assessment of Student Progress and Performance (CAASPP) and English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC), and district assessments, and assists with the Federal and State mandates and reporting. A key aspect of this position involves analyzing assessment data, identifying achievement gaps to drive instructional improvements, focusing on district and site subgroups, and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) for academics. This position also manages the professional development and credential support for new and non-credentialed teachers to ensure instructional quality. In addition, this position will assist in district and site safety plans, training, and communication.
     
    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 
    • Appropriate California credential(s) or equivalent as specified by law, including a valid Clear Teaching credential
    • 5 years of exceptional teaching experience
    • Experience and knowledge of curriculum and instructional techniques
    • Experience with the California Standards for the Teaching Profession (CSTP)
    • Peer training or experience in instructional staff development
    • Master’s Degree in curriculum instruction or leadership and/or Reading Specialist Credential.
    SALARY:  $101,766 - $133,912 (Step 1 – 11; based on relevant experience)
