Qualifications
Interns must be enrolled in an accredited masters level university program in the field of school social work, and meet all requirements to fulfill an internship role. Terms of employment for interns are for one year only.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include, but not limited to)
Provide comprehensive school social work services to parents, students, and school staff, addressing barriers that limit a student from receiving full benefit from their educational experience.  Respond to referrals from school administration, parents, teachers, the Student Support Team, the Special Education Committee and others by providing direct services and by assisting families in accessing appropriate community resources. 

Salary
Placed on the Licensed Teacher Salary Schedule

Hours
Full time.  To begin Spring 2025 and Fall 2025 .

Qualifications
Hold a Utah Professional Special Education teaching license with Mild/Moderate or Severe endorsement.
Masters degree preferred

Essential Duties & Responsibilities (include, but not limited to)
Under the supervision of the Special Education Director, this position will work collaboratively with special education and general education teachers to provide instructional support to increase student achievement for students with disabilities by providing instructional coaching and modeling.  This position will collaborate with special education and general education teachers by providing direct instructional coaching, professional development, and academic instructional strategies, and assist with implementation; help develop and empower teachers to write strong IEPs and assist with implementation; provide compliance support to the special education program; regularly perform IEP file reviews and audits. This position will act as a parent liaison, supporting parents through the IEP process and addressing parent complaints, issues, and concerns.  This position will also support school administration in supporting 90-day plan goals around special education.

Salary
Placed on the Licensed Teacher Salary Schedule, plus an additional 15%
Placement is determined by education level and years of experience.  Experience credit will be awarded for the first ten (10) years of certified experience in an accredited school.

Hours
Full-time, 193 day contract.  To begin August 2025

Speech Language Pathologist

Qualifications
Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology
Hold, or be eligible to hold, a Utah State Board of Education Speech Language Pathologist license.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities (include, but not limited to)
1. Serves as a resource to school staff members in the development of a balanced program for oral communication and speech and language improvement.
2. Assists and guides teachers in observing, describing, and referring suspected and identified speech and language impairments.
3. Provides a thorough assessment and diagnosis of speech, voice, and language impairments.
4. Provides screening to identify children with speech impairments as requested..
5. Assists in proper referrals of individuals to agencies and specialists in the community.
6. Provides appropriate individualized programs of therapy to meet individual students needs and correct existing speech or language deficits.
7. Collaborates with classroom teachers and other school staff members to implement therapy by suggestions for the student’s daily activities.
8. Provides information, support, and counseling to parents and families when appropriate.
Salary
Placed on the Licensed Salary Schedule plus a $10,000 yearly stipend for license.

Hours
Full time, 183 day contact (teacher schedule), to begin August 11, 2025.
