Office Assistant District Wide Substutite 
 
Job Summary:
Receptionist - face-to-face and telephone, maintain student attendance data, submit daily lunch counts, oversee staff workroom, update website as needed, assist building secretary with duties as assigned.

Rate of Pay- $15.75/hr

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. 
Two years clerical experience or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in a school setting preferred.
Familiarity with telephone and computer systems.
Ability to multi-task while maintaining a positive demeanor.
Excellent customer service skills.
 

Working Conditions:
Office, lifting, pushing, pulling, standing, sitting, keyboarding, etc.

Program Description: 
Our Middle Level Summer Learning Adventure Program is designed for our rising 6th - 8th grade students to provide an extra boost for success moving into the upcoming school year.  Each week of the 5-week program will be an active and engaging experience centered around one Shakopee Academy. Speakers, challenges, and contests will all be part of this academy-themed experience!  In addition, students will receive math, literacy, and social emotional learning support to become a more confident and organized learner!

Pay Rate: $17.93/hr

Program Dates/Times
Monday - Thursday | July 7th - August 7th
8:30 AM - 2:00 PM
This is a temporary position.  

Position Description:
The summer clerical job requires a working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets and the Infinite Campus student information database, a working knowledge of district phone procedures, and good interpersonal skills with parents, students, and teachers. The clerical person will be given extra hours to help enter student registrations and maintain the summer school office at West Middle School.

Qualifications: 
High school diploma. Two years of clerical/office experience preferred.  Must possess excellent customer service skills, ability to pay close attention to detail and strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, experience with Microsoft Word and Excel, excellent communication skills on phone and in person; and excellent written communication skills.

Working Conditions:
Office environment.
Large amount of time spent on computer and phone and sitting.
