The candidate should hold a valid Washington State teaching certificate and administrative credentials or related experience. We are seeking a candidate with strong interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills. Some administrative and leadership experience is preferred. The candidate should be committed to supporting the Catholic mission of the school and preference is given to a practicing Catholic.

The Vice Principal supports the Principal in leadership and administration of all aspects of school life, including fostering a faith filled learning environment; supporting staff professional development; maintaining up to date curriculum and teaching practices; and working with school leadership bodies to ensure utilization of best practices for continued school growth.
Other Qualifications:
Promote the Catholic identity of the school; support service and social justice work within the school; and support students, staff and school families in faith formation.
Demonstrate academic leadership and collaboration skills with faculty to support curriculum development and integration of best instructional practices.
Value the development of critical thinking skills in each student and show commitment to creating a warm and caring environment within the school.
Is an effective communicator with all school stakeholders and is skilled at planning schoolwide events.
Is knowledgeable about school accreditation, the NSBECS and models for ongoing school improvement.
Oversees standardized testing coordination, utilizes data to monitor student progress and can support academic interventions.
Implements consistent schoolwide discipline policies. Promotes a safe, respectful and inclusive school environment rooted in Gospel values. Addresses behavioral concerns with students, staff and families in a restorative manner.
Supports daily school operations including scheduling, supervision and crisis management. Assists with staff evaluations and professional development. Assists with enrollment, marketing and development needs of the school.
Has knowledge and skills to support effective utilization of technology systems in the school including PowerSchool and Schoology.
Demonstrates a growth mindset and an openness to feedback.
Salary:
The salary range for this position is $75,000-$105,000. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, degrees and certifications.
