    Sheridan County School District No. 2 is seeking a friendly, professional and reliablle Speech Language Pathologist to join our SCSD2 team for the 2025-2026 school year!

    • Master’s Degree

    REPORTS TO: Director of Special Education

     

    JOB GOAL: To provide Speech and Language Services to help Special Education students succeed in the least restrictive educational environment.

     

    PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

     
    • Design and implement screening procedures to identify speech and language deficits.
    • Identify and remediate students who qualify for Speech Language Therapy according to Wyoming State Board of Education Rules and Regulations Governing Services for Children with Disabilities in Wyoming School Districts.
    • Member of Child Study Team and staffing when appropriate.
    • Writing Comprehensive Evaluation Reports: Individual Education Programs (IEPs).
    • Writing and implementing the IEP for students qualifying for Speech/Language services (articulation impairment, voice impairment, fluency impairment, and language impairment).
    • Inform parents of students’ progress.
    • Inform principal and classroom teachers of students’ progress.
    • Complete records and reports as required by Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), Chapter 7 Regulations.
    • Other duties as directed by the Director of Special Education.
     

    TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Approximately 187 days; salary and fringe benefits to be set by Board of Trustees.
