Title Potential Full Time Paraprofessional

Description Due to number of students and other openings in the school district, we will potentially need
additional paraprofessionals to join our staff for the 23-24 school year. If interested, please
complete an application.
The primary function of this position is to assist a teacher (or teachers) in a wide variety of
classroom activities including supervisory duties in a variety of locations throughout the school
building.
Skills are required to perform multiple, non-technical tasks with a potential need to upgrade skills
in order to meet changing job conditions. Specific skills required to satisfactorily perform the
functions of the job include: adhering to safety practices; operating standard office equipment
including using pertinent software applications; preparing and maintaining accurate records.
Specific knowledge required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job includes:
instructional procedures and practices; age appropriate student activities; safety practices and
procedures; conflict resolution; and stages of child development/ behavior.
Ability is required to schedule activities; collate data; and use basic, job-related equipment.
Flexibility is required to independently work with others in a wide variety of circumstances;
analyze data utilizing a variety of complex processes; and operate equipment using
standardized methods. Ability is also required to work with a wide diversity of individuals and
work with a variety of data. In working with others, problem solving is required to identify issues
and create action plans. Problem solving with data may require independent interpretation; and
problem solving with equipment is moderate.
Specific abilities required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include:
Adapting to changing work priorities
Communicating with diverse groups
Maintaining confidentiality
Working as part of a team and working with constant interruptions
Responsibilities include:
Working under direct supervision using standardized routines;
Leading, guiding, and/or coordinating others
Requirements:
The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following
physical demands: significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; frequent stooping,
kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and significant fine finger dexterity.
A criminal background and fingerprint check are also required.
Shift Type Full-Time
Salary Range $17.27 / Per Hour

Special Ed Aide for 2025-26 School Year
The candidate will work under the guidance of the Secondary (JH/HS) and Elementary Special Education teacher(s). The candidate will work with high-needs students in a variety of settings, including but limited to, 1-on-1, Small Group, Pull-Out, Push-In, etc., across the Elementary (K-6) and Secondary (7-12) settings.  The candidate will work closely with teachers, administration, and other support staff. Duties will vary by the day and will be up to 35 hours per week.

The position will follow the district calendar and qualify for benefits as per policy. Please follow this link for Salary & Wage information. The 24-25 hourly rate is $15.50 per hour.
