Qualifications Profile

Education

Experience

Adeline C. Marston School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher and Case Manager to support our students in grades 3-5. This role will involve providing individualized and small-group instruction to students with diverse learning needs, ensuring each child has the support necessary to thrive academically and socially. The Case Manager component will include overseeing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), collaborating with general education teachers, and communicating with families to monitor student progress and ensure compliance with special education laws and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement IEPs for students with disabilities, including setting goals, accommodations, and modifications. Provide specialized instruction in a variety of settings (one-on-one, small group, and inclusive classroom settings). Collaborate closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure the success of students. Monitor student progress, track data, and adjust instruction as needed to meet students' academic and behavioral goals. Serve as the case manager for students with IEPs, ensuring that services are being provided and goals are met. Attend and participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development activities. Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that fosters student growth and development.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. Certification in Special Education (NH certification required). Experience working with students with diverse learning needs in an elementary school setting. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators, staff, and families.
