Hampton School District has a Speech Language Pathologist position opening for the 2025-26 school year at Centre Elementary School.

Duties include performing initial and re-evaluation testing, writing measurable IEP goals as well as actively participating in IEP meetings, providing direct service in groups as well as 1:1, and consulting with staff. In addition, know and be able to explain the difference between school-based therapy and home-based therapy. 

NH certification/licensure required.  Compensation, benefits, and other employment details are consistent with the terms and conditions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Hampton School Board and the Seacoast Education Association.  That document can be reviewed on the SAU 90 website under Operations/Human Resources.

Hampton School District - SAU 90 has an immediate opening for a Special Education K-2 Paraprofessional Long Term Substitute to provide students with support both with academic and behavioral learning goals at Centre Elementary School.

This position is 6.5 hours daily for school year 2024-2025.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide tutoring services to students under the supervision of a special education teacher
• Provide other services specifically outlined in student’s Individual Education/504 Plan
• Provide anecdotal reports when deemed necessary
• Serve as a resource person, if and when requested, to the Core Team regarding student needs and progress
• Alert teacher(s)/Special Education Director of any concerns about the student
• Accompany assigned student on field trips as specified in the Individual Education/504 Plan
• Recognize and maintain confidentiality on student progress and records
• Recognize that all communication with parents and other third parties regarding the student is not the responsibility of the assistant and such communication shall be directed to the appropriate personnel
• Assist teacher in maintaining appropriate classroom behavior or monitoring specific behavior management plans
• Assist with supervisory duties including, but not limited to, recess, lunchroom, and bus
 
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Special Education

Hampton School District has a full-time opening for a Speech and Language Aide at Centre Elementary School, grades PreK-2. The job of SLPA/SLSP works under the supervision of a credentialed Speech Language Pathologist to complete a variety of tasks such as activities designed to develop pre-language and language skills, oral-motor skill development for speech production, vocalization, and use of assistive technology devices for communication.   
SLA Certification preferred, but will train the right candidate.

Position is 182 days, 5 days per week, 6.5 hours per day.
