Purpose
Participate in child find activities for students in both public and non-public schools in SACS. Complete initial and reevaluation assessments of students ages preschool–high school and develop psychoeducational reports. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, functional behavior assessments and the development of behavior intervention plans. Participate and/or lead building and district level staff development activities. Maintain legal time limits for completing assessments and participation in case conferences.
Qualifications
Appropriate licensing as required by the state of Indiana. Familiarity of current assessment tools (i.e. psychological testing evaluations). Knowledge of current accommodations and modifications useful in the development of general and special education interventions. Ability to use electronic scoring protocols. Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
