Purpose
The ideal candidate will have the ability to create a learning environment that challenges students at all ability levels and encourages inquiry, collaboration and creativity in the kitchen.  Teachers will be required to integrate technology into classroom activities; differentiate instruction; effectively utilize formative and summative assessments; use data to inform instruction, etc.

Qualifications
Certified teacher in the state of Indiana. Desire and ability to build culinary arts program in a commercial kitchen preferred. ServSafe certification necessary with interest in becoming a Certified Culinary Educator preferred. Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. Preferred Licensure: CTE: Family & Consumer Sciences with high school setting or Workplace Specialist: Culinary Arts & Food Service Management Occupations or Workplace Specialist: Food Science.
