    Principal – Shepaug Valley School

     

    Regional School District 12 is seeking a highly qualified individual to provide thoughtful leadership, a commitment to student success, and a drive for academic excellence to shape the future of Shepaug Valley School. The successful candidate will possess an expertise in developing new programs and leading a 6-12 middle/high school with an agriscience academy that accepts students from seven sending towns.

    JOB SUMMARY:  The principal is responsible for the direction, supervision, coordination, and evaluation of the school to which he/she is assigned.  All school administrative, teaching, and support personnel will be directly accountable to the principal.  

    QUALIFICATIONS:      
    1.  Valid Connecticut Certificate as an Intermediate Administrator or Supervision (092)
    2.  Previous building principal experience preferred

     

     

    Working Conditions:

     
    Twelve-month year
    Performance will be evaluated annually by the Superintendent.
