  Job Title:  Collaborative Learning Center Teacher

Job Description:
The Collaborative Learning Program Teacher is a Special Education Teacher who works with students who have social/emotional disabilities that impact their access to the general education environment.  This teacher will design, implement and evaluate individualized education programs (IEPs). Frequent communication and collaboration with parents and support staff will be expected to ensure each student receives comprehensive support tailored to their individual needs.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Special Education.
• Must hold current CT Teaching Certification with K-12 Special Education Endorsement.
• Ability to work in a self-contained social/emotional, behaviorally focused classroom.
• Ability to work cooperatively with school leadership, general education and support staff and families.
• Ability to utilize technology and analyze data to respond to student, program and department needs.
