    JOB GOAL:

     

    To assist in the daily processes and activities throughout the school year.

     

     

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

     
    1. Ability to communicate with parents, staff and students.

    2. Must be able to read, write and speak English.

    3. Current QCUSD High School Student preferred.

    4. Knowledge of and adheres to all policies, regulations and rules.

    5. Excellent customer service and reliability.

    6. For those 18+: Must pass fingerprint and background clearance.

    7. CPR/First Aid Certification.

    8. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs., be able to exert 25 -30 lbs. of force frequently, push, pull or otherwise move.

    9. Ability to walk, reach, climb or balance, stoop or kneel, and to sit for long periods of time.

     

     

     

    TERM OF EMPLOYMENT:  180 Days; 9 Months; Part-time

     

    COMPENSATION:  Per QCUSD salary schedule for applicable position

     

    BENEFITS:  As per QCUSD District policy

     

    REPORTS TO:  Community Education Director

     

    HOURS:  17.50 hours per week - Monday-Friday

     

    CLASSIFICATION: Hourly, Non-exempt

     

    PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to, the following: 

     
    1. Establish and maintain good rapport with students, employees and families

    2. Learns all essential skills within a reasonable time span

    3. Assists Site Lead and Site Aides with necessary tasks:

    4. Be willing to take initiative

    5. Performs all duties in a safe and prudent manner as directed

    6. Performs other duties as assigned
       

     

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

     

    Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus.
