Preferred Qualifications:
1. Multiple years of experience as a collegiate player or as a coach.
2. Knowledge of volleyball skills, rules, and applicable drills.
Reports to and evaluated by: Assistant Principal/Athletic Director Supervises: Assistant volleyball coaches
Job Goal: To promote a high school volleyball program in which the student can excel to her full potential while competing in an atmosphere that adds to her total education including his physical well- being, moral character and social and mental development.
Essential Duties & Performance Responsibilities:
1. Coordinates the high school volleyball program.
2. Develops and organizes a practice program.
4. Acts as a liaison person in relating the volleyball program to the staff, administration and public.
6. Weekly parent updates through means of e-mail.
7. General supervision (Practices, matches and community events).
8. Assists the Assistant Principal/athletic director in scheduling, administration of the volleyball budget, and making travel arrangements.
9. Maintains professional growth through attendance of coaching clinics, and conferences.
10. Coordinates the tracking and inputting of statistical data into Maxpreps.
11. Instructs and demonstrates volleyball rules and techniques.
12. Follows the Patriot League and CHSAA Bylaws.
13. Evaluates assistant coach and participants.
14. Performs other tasks and assumes other responsibilities as the AP/AD, principal, Superintendent and/or the board may assign.
Terms of Employment: For duration of approved athletic season.
Evaluation: Performance of this position will be evaluated in accordance with the board’s policy on
evaluation of coaching personnel.
