Applicants must hold (or be eligible to obtain) a CTE teaching certificate with the appropriate 3 years full-time occupational experience-based endorsements:
- V078000 Business and Marketing Education Degree and 2000 hours Occupational Experience other than teaching
OR - V080301 Ownership and operation of self-owned business
AND - V120505 Experience in food work that includes the preparation and service of food
OR - V200002 Family and Consumer Science Degree and 2000 hours Occupational Experience other than teaching
OR - V190504 Experience in the Food Science, Dietetics, and Nutrition industry, including risk management procedures, nutritional therapy, technology in food production and diet and nutrition analysis, and planning
OR - V200493 Experience as a chef or working in the culinary arts industry OR V190504 Experience in the Food Science, Dietetics, and Nutrition industry, including risk management procedures, nutritional therapy, technology in food production and diet and nutrition analysis, and planning
Additional Requirements
- Must hold or be willing to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification
- Pass Criminal Background Fingerprinting w/WSP and FBI
- Successfully complete OSPI required training
