POSITION OVERVIEW: District Enrollment Manager (Full Time) - Central Office

As the District Enrollment Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing student enrollment processes, maintaining data integrity, and ensuring every family feels supported during registration. This position will focus on improving data quality, managing the online student registration system, and collaborating with various teams to enhance accessibility and streamline enrollment-related processes.
This year-round position includes a generous benefits package, including 20 annual vacation days and full health and dental benefits. The salary range for this position is $70,000-$80,000.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Enrollment Management
- Oversee and manage the district's enrollment processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and inclusivity.
- Collaborate with the Data Systems Manager to codify and document clear data entry processes, ensuring consistent and accurate enrollment data.
- Develop and implement systems to address common enrollment challenges, such as waitlists, overflow, residency verification, and student placement.
- Work closely with school staff, including administrative assistants, multilingual intake coordinators, McKinney-Vento liaisons, and enrollment specialists to address enrollment needs and placement decisions.
- Generate and analyze reports for district leadership, identifying trends and recommending areas for improvement.
- Ensure data integrity by developing data quality assurance systems to regularly review and validate data input into the enrollment system.
+ Data Quality Assurance & Process Improvement
- Develop and implement robust quality control processes to ensure the accuracy and consistency of student enrollment data.
- Collaborate with the Data Systems Manager to continually improve data entry workflows and automation, minimizing errors and reducing manual effort.
- Ensure the accuracy and quality of data collected during the enrollment process, while managing ongoing updates to the online registration system (OLR) to enhance data capture, maintain consistency, and improve ease of use for both families and staff.
- Actively identify opportunities for streamlining processes and reducing the burden on both families and school staff through system improvements and process adjustments.
+ Online Registration System Management & Maintenance
- Take ownership of the district’s online registration system (OLR), ensuring that it is up-to-date, user-friendly, and aligned with best practices for data collection and reporting.
- Work with the Data Systems Manager to maintain and enhance the OLR system, ensuring smooth integration with other district systems and reducing friction in the enrollment process.
- Regularly assess the OLR system's effectiveness and propose improvements to increase data quality, accessibility, and user satisfaction.
+ Family Support & Engagement
- Serve as the central point of contact for families with questions or concerns related to enrollment, providing personalized support and guidance with a focus on equity and accessibility.
- Actively identify and address enrollment barriers for historically underserved populations, including families experiencing homelessness, students in foster care, and non-English-speaking families, ensuring all students have equitable access to educational opportunities.
- Develop and maintain an FAQ to address common questions and issues related to enrollment, improving the experience for families.
+ Compliance & Training
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act, Lau Plan for English Learners, and other enrollment-related policies.
- Conduct audits and provide regular training to school staff, including administrative assistants and other personnel involved in student registration, ensuring adherence to all relevant policies and regulations.
- Develop and deliver training programs for school staff to ensure they are well-equipped to handle enrollment tasks and serve diverse student populations effectively.
+ Project Management & Staff Supervision
- Lead and manage projects related to enrollment systems and data quality improvements, including setting priorities, establishing deadlines, and monitoring progress.
- Oversee a team of staff responsible for enrollment, providing direction, support, and guidance to ensure effective execution of tasks.
- Ensure that the team operates efficiently and collaboratively, maintaining a focus on continuous improvement in enrollment processes and data quality.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- At least three years of work experience
- Experience working with diverse populations and an understanding of the barriers affecting equitable access to education
- Familiarity with federal and state education policies, including the McKinney-Vento Act
- Bilingual in a language spoken by families in our community (preferred)
- Familiarity with Infinite Campus or other student data management systems (preferred)
- Strong computer skills, especially with Google Workspace tools (e.g., Docs, Forms, Sheets) and Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel)
- Ability to develop clear documentation and present technical information in user-friendly language
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize time, projects, and resources to meet deadlines effectively
- Strong customer service approach and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to be self-directed and take initiative as well as to work collaboratively

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Reaching/handling/manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other computer components.
- Mobility to work in a typical office setting and use standard office equipment.
- Must be able to travel to schools within the district.
- Frequent near and far visual acuity with or without visual accommodation to read printed materials and computer screen or other monitoring devices.
- Hearing/speech to communicate in person or over the telephone.

EMPLOYMENT DETAILS:
- The position typically requires a standard workweek of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- While the primary work location is the district’s central office, we offer the flexibility of hybrid remote work to accommodate individual needs
- This is a permanent, year-round, full-time (1.0 FTE) position
- Not eligible for overtime
