Qualification
PRIMARY FUNCTION:  To transport students safely, efficiently and economically to and from school on a daily basis and to extracurricular events on a non-regular basis.
 
REPORTS TO: Supervisor of Transportation. Each driver shall be directly responsible to the principals of the schools he/she serves on matters related to student discipline and patron relations.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
 
1.  High school diploma or GED equivalency.
 
2.  Submit at least two references attesting to the applicant's ability, character and personal qualifi­cations.
 
3.  Meet school bus driver certification requirements:
 
      a. minimum hours of instruction
 
      b. satisfactorily pass knowledge examination.
 
4.  Meet State requirements for appropriate licensing.
 
5.  Meet State physical examination requirements.
 
6.  Meet local or State standards for driving test.
 
7.  Meet local or State standards for driver record check.
 
8.  Must have successfully completed the National Red Cross First Aid Course.
 
9.  Ability to operate all vehicle types used in trans­porting students.
 
10. Ability to operate radio communication when necessary.
 
*All Substitutes must be 21 years of age

• Air Brake Endorsement
• Commercial Drivers License (CDL) "B"
• Passenger Endorsement

B: Has one of the following degree(s) or above:

Qualification
• Preparation of foods for School Nutrition meals including receiving, preparation, holding, storage and end of day procedures.
• Prepare and serve school meals according to USDA meal pattern requirements for all grade groups.
• Accurately document daily food and supplies used each day. 
• Ability to operate, use and care for commercial kitchen equipment.
• Follow Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP), food safety and sanitation principles.
• Adhere to all verbal and written cash handling and meal claiming procedures.(if applicable)
• General cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen and cafeteria areas including all service areas related to school nutrition services.
• Serve Safe Certificate required
• Promote good public relations with students, faculty, parents and community.
• Comply with School Nutrition Program uniform policies and procedures.
• Comply with federal mandates for Professional Standards for School Nutrition Employees.
• Adhere to job safety standards and procedures for a safe work environment.
• Complete assigned duties as scheduled by the School Nutrition Program Manager.
• Lift, carry, push and/or pull items with a strength factor of heavy work.
• Ability to traverse stairs, physical ability to carry up to 40 pounds.
• Work involves walking, constant standing, using of hands and arms to operate and clean equipment and lifting of stock.
• Vision abilities required to include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
• The noise level in the work area is usually moderately loud.

Job Summary:
 
A Substitute Teacher provides temporary instruction in the absence of the regular teacher. Responsibilities include following lesson plans, managing classroom behavior, and ensuring a safe and productive learning environment. The Substitute Teacher adapts to various subjects and grade levels, communicates with students and staff, and maintains classroom routines. Flexibility, strong classroom management skills, and the ability to engage students are essential for this role. This position ensures continuity in students' education and supports the school’s overall learning goals.
