Act as a substitute in our custodial department when permanent employee's are absence on an as needed basis.  Shifts and positions vary according to position.

REPORTS TO:     Building Principal and Coordinator of Support Services.  Cooperates with assigned building custodian in a mentor relationship for standardization of custodial practices and procedures.
 
JOB GOAL:       To provide students with a safe, attractive, clean, and comfortable environment so they can take full advantage of the District’s educational opportunities; to contribute to a positive school atmosphere by offering pleasant, accommodating custodial services for students and staff

PAY:  All other substitutes will be paid at Step 1 of their corresponding assignment classification.  Building custodian:  $18.30 per hour; $17.55 per hour

To cover on an as needed basis when an absence occurs for a para-educator position.  Each position and the hours differ.

REPORTS TO:     Building Principal
 
JOB GOAL:       To assist with maintenance of a well-organized, smoothly functioning classroom so the teacher may devote maximum attention to the instructional program and meeting the educational needs of students; to contribute to a positive school atmosphere by offering pleasant, accommodating services to parents, students and staff

PAY:  $16.35 per hour (step 1 on para schedule); substitute special education para-educators will be paid $1.00 more an hour than base.
