Job Summary: 
• Perform duties of a teacher or teacher assistant to provide continuity of day-to-day responsibilities with students during the absence of the regular teacher or teacher assistant
• Performs other duties as assigned by the appropriate supervisor or administrator
• Uses appropriate judgment to act in the best interests of students at all times
Qualifications:
• Experience and excellent references for providing age-appropriate care and education for children ages Birth to 5 years.
• Organized, flexible, and able to handle multiple priorities typical in a 4-Star Parent Aware, NAEYC Accredited center.
• MN Teaching license preferred but not required.

Job Summary: 
• Provide support to the teacher in a child care classroom including: attentiveness to children, preparing bottles and feeding children, cleaning classroom and diaper changes.
• Maintain a safe, positive, play and learning environment that meets the physical, educational and social/emotional domains for infants.
• Assist in other classrooms as needed.
• Attend staff meetings and in-service trainings.
• Utilize continuing education opportunities, which will maintain and enhance professional responsibilities as well as help you meet continuing education requirements for your position.
• Full-time M-F with flexible hours between 7am-5pm. 
Qualifications:
• Fun, nurturing and caring. Organized and flexible.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks while working as a team with other staff in the room.
• Previous experience within a licensed child care facility preferred.
• Previous experience working with infants desired.
• Education related to early childhood appreciated.
• Eagerness to attend professional development related to understanding infant development.

Job Summary:
• Plan and implement curriculum using the Creative Curriculum, in a play-based learning environment.
• Conduct assessments throughout the year using Teaching Strategies Gold, evaluating children's social, emotional and academic growth.
• Conduct Parent/Teacher conferences with progress reports twice a year.
• Work with the assistant teacher to create an intriguing learning environment expected of high quality NAEYC accredited program.
Responsibilities:
• Plan and conduct daily activities for children in a safe environment
• Supervise personnel assigned to assist with daily group activities
• Maintain a clean and orderly physical environment conducive to optimal growth and development of children
• Keeping a strong line of communication open with families
• Assist in program evaluation
• Being open to ideas and thoughts from other staff in order to maximize the potential of your classroom
• Attend and actively contribute to staff and family meetings
• Incorporate assessment into your weekly lesson plans. Use results to guide future lesson plans for the group and to differentiate for individual children

Qualifications:
• Experience and excellent references for providing age-appropriate respectful care and education for children ages 16-33 months. Organized, flexible and able to handle multiple priorities typical in a DHS Licensed 4-star Parent  Aware, NAEYC Accredited center. Candidate must be teacher qualified according to the MN Dept of Human Services standards.
Range:  $21-$22/hr.

Description:  Special Education Paraeducator - Early Childhood

Job Summary: 
• Provide supervision to students in Early Childhood Special Education and Elementary Levels
• Efficiently and effectively assist in providing a well-organized, smoothly functioning program in a special education setting while working under the supervision of a supervising teacher. 
• Performs support work assisting students in meeting educational, communication, emotional, physical and behavioral goals of special needs students in special education or general education classrooms.  Works Individually or in small groups. 
• Collaborate with other teaching staff and paraprofessionals for the benefit of all students.
• Help students develop life skills.
 
Qualifications:
 
• This is a six and a half (6.5) hour per day position for 170 days/year.
• Paraprofessionals must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job, which entails lifting, bending, and twisting in various settings.
• Be a motivated, self-starter with the ability to handle situations with a calm demeanor.
• A high level of compassion for students with developmental disabilities is essential.
• Flexibility and a cooperative nature are required.

COMPENSATION
Hourly Wage: $18.94-$22.23
