• Must be able to facilitate the evacuation of students during emergency situations and/or drills

NATURE OF WORK:
An employee in this class provides a variety of duties in the direct supervision of the food service program in one of the school system’s dining facilities. Tasks are performed according to established guidelines and procedures. The employee is expected to resolve most problems that arise in the operation of school dining. Errors by the employee may result in serious disruption of the food service program or loss of time and money. The employee receives general supervision. The employee directly supervises other employees in the school cafeteria.

5. Advocacy: Advocates for appropriate services for students and their families.
6. Consultation and Collaboration: Communicates the goals of the comprehensive school counseling program to education stakeholders (i.e., administrators, teachers, students, parents, and community/business leaders.)
7. Accountability: Collects and analyzes data to guide program direction and emphasis.  Measures results of the school counseling program activities and shares results as appropriate.  Monitors student academic performance, behavior and attendance and assists with appropriate interventions.
