3. Observe teachers, provide feedback, and identify next steps to improve instruction in ELD instruction.
4. Supports staff, administration, students, and parents as the leader with expertise in providing quality educational support for multilingual learners.
5. Collaborate in the creation of short and long-term ELL Program goals that support the implementation of services and the overall effectiveness of the for English language learners’ program.
6. Supervise and evaluate ELL teachers, specialists, and instructional assistants in cooperation with building administration.
7. Participates in the recruitment, training, and developing/mentoring new ELL staff through training sessions, observations, modeling, and coaching.
8. Attend state meetings, district level meetings, Strategic Planning Teams, Curriculum & Instruction meetings as needed.
9. Analyzes school and district ELL student data with ELL teachers to supplement planning for PLC discussions and informed instructional decisions.
10. Collaborates with ELL Director and other district and school leaders to enhance data driven targeted intervention support for English language learners.

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Civil Rights Compliance Coordinator is responsible for monitoring the overall implementation of Federal, State, and local civil rights requirements for the school district. Most of the responsibility is to prevent discrimination and discriminatory harassment of students, employees, and others on the basis of sex, race, creed, religion, color, national origin, veteran or military status, sexual orientation, gender expression or identity, or disability. They will also serve as the districts Title IX Coordinator.

 
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, legal studies, or related field required, Masters degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in compliance, human resources, legal affairs, or related field required.
• In-Depth knowledge of civil rights laws and regulations at the Federal, State, and local level required.
• Experience working with Title IX required.
• Experience working in civil rights advocacy or related field preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to muti task in a fast-paced environment preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Coordinating and monitoring the district’s compliance with state and federal laws, regulations, and guidelines that prohibit discrimination on the basis of sex, race, creed, religion, color, national origin, veteran or military status, sexual orientation, gender expression or identity, or disability.
• Overseeing prevention efforts to avoid civil rights violations from occurring.
• Implementing the district’s discrimination/Title IX complaint procedures and regularly review and update the districts civil rights policies to reflect changes in laws and regulations.
• Investigating complaints alleging discrimination or harassment based on protected classes and work to resolve complaints through mediation, investigation, and implementation of corrective actions.
• Coordinating annual training for all staff on Title IX, sexual harassment, and discrimination.
• Collaborate with the Director of Human Resources on employee relations matters.
• Conducting regular assessments and audits to identify potential compliance issues.
• Maintaining detailed records of all complaints, investigations, and resolutions.
• Preparing and submitting required reports to the Office of Civil Rights.
• Fostering an inclusive environment that respects and values diversity and inclusion.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Our program runs for 3 hours in the afternoon from Monday to Friday (roughly 2:30pm-5:30pm)

QUALIFICATIONS:
Teacher certification in Elementary Education is required. Previous experience  working with elementary aged school is preferred.  OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:
 The 21^st Century Program creates a safe and positive afterschool environment where every student has an opportunity to grow academically, socially, and emotionally. The Academic Coordinator develops, implements, and coordinates the academic alignment of the Nashua District’s curriculum with the 21st Century afterschool program.  The Academic Coordinator is responsible for reviewing and analyzing student data to identify strategies to improve student academic and social and emotional outcomes. The Academic Coordinator collaborates with Nashua School District leadership, curriculum staff, teachers, and school administrators, as well as community partners,  to enhance students’ academic success during out of school time.  
 
QUALIFICATIONS: 
1. Bachelor’s degree in education or related field; master’s degree preferred.
2. Current NH Teacher Certification required and experience implementing project-based learning strategies preferred.
3. Experience coaching afterschool professionals preferred.
4. Experience working in an afterschool setting and/or summer school setting  preferred.
5. An understanding and or experience using school data systems and student performance data (CAYEN, Performance Plus, Star Testing, i-Ready, X2) strongly preferred.
6. Ability to foster team collaboration and positive school-community relationships, and a desire to create a safe and positive learning environment with a clear commitment to meeting the needs of all students.
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and use of technology is required.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES 
1. Collaborate with school faculty to identify and recruit students from target student populations to enroll in the 21st Century Extended Day Program.
2. Develop and Implement strategies alongside the 21st Century Program Coordinator to meet the Governance Performance Results Act (GPRA) measures as required by the New Hampshire Department of Education.
3. Work with Nashua School District data professionals to interpret student data including New Hampshire Department of Education 21CCLC survey data, 21CCLC Annual Reports, Performance Plus Data, Attendance Records, Power Scholars Academy STAR Testing data, and other student assessments, to identify trends in students’ academic and social and emotional well being.
4. Increase opportunities for students’ families to engage in their children’s learning byway of professional development, family workshops and events.
5. Increase opportunities for professional development in curriculum and instruction to strengthen program staff as they work to better support students’ academic and social and emotional well being.
6. Remain both knowledgeable and connected to community wide initiatives which might support the academic and social and emotional well being of 21st Century Extended Day students and their families.
7. Identify and develop opportunities for the 21st Century Extended Day program to utilize school day technologies, specifically for current NSD licensed programs and online measurable platforms.
8. Work with 21st Century key staff, school principals, teachers and curriculum staff to integrate after-school activities with the school curriculum, and utilize after-school time to address the specific academic needs of individual students.
9. Communicate program opportunities within the school community to encourage student referrals and program participation.
10. Work with local colleges and universities to provide opportunities for college students to engage with the 21st Century Extended Day program.
 
PHYSICAL /MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
 Physically performs sedentary work exerting up to 20 pounds of force infrequently, up to 10 pounds occasionally and /or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.  Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, will include walking or standing for brief periods of time.  Occasionally reach above shoulders, kneel and bend.   Mental demands requiring decision making, analytical and organizational skills in order to achieve work objectives, draw daily operational conclusions, solve practical problems, use computer technology and to present information for use by administration in making decisions.
