Event Custodian (Seasonal) Opportunity with Monticello Schools.

Description:
Event Custodian (seasonal) position is located at the Monticello High School covering events up to 2 days/week (Saturdays and/or Sundays) to assist with custodial duties while community education activities are in the building. Dates include most Saturdays and Sundays between November 30, 2024 and May 18, 2025; dates without events will be communicated with adequate prior notice. Hours could be first or second shift and will be finalized in partnership with selected candidate.

The duties of our Custodial staff will include:
General cleaning and maintenance striving to keep facilities and grounds in good repair.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma  or General Education Degree (GED)

• Considerable ability to follow oral and written instruction, to complete daily activities according to work schedule
• Prioritize work and perform duties independently
• Driven to meet needs with a positive attitude and in a timely manner
• Effective communication and teaming skills
• Knowledge of computer and standard applications
• Willingness to be flexible and excellent attendance
• Maintain confidentiality of information about students
• Experience working with diverse students and families
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and occassionally lift 75 - 100 pounds
