Director of Adult Education
Brief Description:
The Board of Education of Middlesex County Magnet Schools is currently accepting applications to fill the position of Director of Adult Education for the 2025-2026 school year. This is a twelve month tenured track position. Salary will be based on the salary guide in effect.
The Director of Adult Education is responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and evaluation of adult education programs. The director ensures the delivery of high-quality education services to adult learners, including programs in literacy, GED preparation, ESL (English as a Second Language), workforce development, and continuing education. This position involves managing budgets, staff, curriculum, student enrollment, and establishing strong partnerships with community organizations, schools, and local businesses
Qualifications:
Valid New Jersey Principal certificate or certificate of eligibility.
Minimum four years of satisfactory teaching experience preferred.
Significant experience managing adult education and/or training programs.
Knowledge of CTE programs.
Required criminal history background check and eligibility to work in the United States
All applicants must meet NJ Residency requirements as per “New Jersey First Act”, N.J.S.A. 52:14-7 (L. 2011, Chapter 70)
