Lincoln County School District is seeking talented and amazing educators passionate about kids.  Lincoln County School District is seeking a SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST at Lincoln County School District for the 2025-2026 school year.  Location to be determined.  

PURPOSE: School Psychologists provide psychological services to schools, including testing and consulting to assist in meeting the educational, social, and emotional needs of students in regular and special education programs in the Lincoln County School District.

 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Meets the standards of Competent and Ethical Performance as outlined in Oregon Administrative Rules (OAR 584-020-000 to 584-020-045). The following are examples of duties. However, any one position may not cover all duties listed; examples may not cover all duties an employee is expected to perform; and other duties may be assigned.
 
• Conduct individual evaluations in all eligibility areas defined in IDEA 2004.
• Provide comprehensive written report of observations and conclusions gathered from child’s performance/behavior at school and home, and test information results.
• Confer with classroom teachers and/or parents as to evaluation results and recommendations.
• Provide direct services, consultation, and training with those involved in child’s care and education.
• Provide supervision to students during designated times and location.
• Provide staff training in procedural compliance, understanding and working with students with special needs, behavior supports, and other subjects that are job related.
• Lead building level specialist meetings to provide procedural guidance and district information.
• Participate on pre-assessment teams to determine necessity for comprehensive student evaluations.
• Support Learning Specialists in assigned buildings with procedural compliance, IEP development and meetings.
• Participate in activities that are related to school functions and/or the education process that occur outside the regular work day, in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor or other appropriate authority.
• Establish and maintain open lines of communication with all students and parents/guardians concerning both academic and behavioral progress of students.
• Assist school staff and administration in implementing all policies and rules governing student conduct, reinforce individual schools’ plans for positive behavior support, and use effective, proactive behavior management skills in all school settings.
• Maintain accurate, complete and confidential records as required by law, district policy, and administrative regulations.
• Use technology as related to job responsibilities.
• Reflect upon own performance and accept and use supervisory suggestions and feedback.
• Take primary responsibility for pursuing and evaluating own professional growth.
• Attend and participate in building staff meetings, district in-service meetings and district level school psychologist meetings.
 

The qualified applicant must have:
 
* Demonstrated successful course completion in cognitive, behavioral, and academic testing and related skills
* Ability to work in a variety of settings including classroom, school buildings, and office environments
* Ability to provide own transportation to fulfill the requirement of the job throughout Lincoln County
 
 

Salary Range: $53,446 - $96,800 per year (based on 2024-2025 salary, 2025-2026 salary to be bargained)  
*Posted salary based on a 190 day contract - will have additional required paid training days prior to start of contract in August 2025
Benefits: Employer paid PERS, Medical, Dental, Vision insurance is pro-rated based on FTE.
