Extended Day Program staff have the opportunity to be creative and engage elementary students in exciting and fun activities before and after the school day. Extended Day Instructional Assistants work up to 35 hours per week. They work 183 days per year, which covers the school year and are eligible for benefits.
Examples of common activities offered at the Extended Day Program include:
- homework assistance
- sports and recreation
- arts and crafts
- playing games
- reading
- storytelling
- music & dance

- Muir Elementary (Kirkland)
- Rockwell Elementary (Redmond)
- Rose Hill Elementary (Kirkland)
- Sandburg Elementary (Kirkland)
- Thoreau Elementary (Kirkland)
Note: Extended Day Instructional Assistants are subject to location changes depending on the needs of the program.
Salary: $26.62 per hour
