La Grande School District is now accepting applications for the following vacancy:
Cook  
Central Elementary School
3.5 hrs/day, school days only

This is an entry-level position in the Food Service Department and involves working in a support capacity to perform routine tasks related to food service in a school cafeteria.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:  High School Diploma or GED; must be able to understand and implement oral and written directions and be knowledgeable in the methods of food handling and preparation.  Must have or obtain a Food Handler’s Card within 60 days of hire. Must undergo fingerprint criminal background/FBI check. 
 
SALARY RANGE: $16.32 – $20.39 per hour. Benefits are not provided with this position.
