    Effective Date:             2025-2026 School Year to begin on July 23, 2025
                                       
    Job Description:        PRIMARY FUNCTION: This is a full-time teaching position to begin July 23, 2025. 
     
    The Welding instructor is responsible for teaching various courses in the welding pathway and/or dual enrollment welding courses, as well as serving as advisor for SkillsUSA. The Welding Instructor will work with local industry and post-secondary partners to serve as coaches, mentors, guest speakers, etc. in order to maximize learning opportunities for students.
     
    Qualifications:
     
    Credential:     Applicants must possess (or be eligible for) certification in Welding through the Georgia Professional Standards Commission or possess industry-recognized certifications, and meet the Professional Qualifications for the position.
    Education:      Bachelor's degree preferred but not required, including all courses to meet credential requirements.
    Experience:    Student teaching, internship, or full-time teaching experience or industry experience in lieu of traditional teaching experience. 
     
    Selection Procedure: Consideration/interviews will begin as soon as a list of qualified applicants is established. Selected candidates will be contacted for interviews.
