    Terms of Employment: 10 month Employee with summer hours - temporary for the school year
     
    SUMMARY:
    To perform data management and support for the Department of Teaching and Learning. These duties should be fulfilled in an accurate and timely manner so that the Department can support School Success Planning and can provide leadership in the district’s data systems, assessment, accountability, and reporting. Summer hours may be required. 
     
    ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
    • Obtain, gather, and organize student data from a variety of sources.
    • Verify source documents for accuracy and make corrections as needed.
    • Import and export student data from numerous databases.
    • Format data into various formats to support T&L team 
    • Assist the superintendent and T&L team in preparing professional assessment and data reports for a variety of stakeholders.
    • Assist in troubleshooting irregularities in student data systems.
    • Assist in maintaining accurate online student data systems including updating information and completing data quality checks.
    • Maintain spreadsheets and perform data mining to extract needed information.
    • Assist in maintaining schedules and timelines to meet state and local deadlines related to data systems, assessment, accountability, and reporting.
    • Maintain accurate records (digital and traditional) documenting compliance of activities and tasks related to assessments and grants.
    • Maintain and organize records related to ESEA monitoring.
    • Order and maintain supplies and testing materials, as needed.
    • Participate in professional learning opportunities to advance job-related skills.
    • Place and receive telephone calls and emails to establish and maintain clear communication between all stakeholders.
    • Follows policies and procedures as established by his/her supervisor and the Board of Education.
    • Performs all other related duties as assigned by his/her supervisor.

    QUALIFICATIONS:          
    • High School Diploma including coursework in computer applications.
    • Three years of successful employment in the area of data or equivalent..
    • Ability to concurrently manage multiple tasks.
    • The ability to use advanced techniques in word processing, spreadsheet, calendaring, and database software. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook is required.
    • Effective interpersonal skills in verbal and written communications.
    • Proficiency in organizing resources, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines.
    • Ability to use a variety of office machines and equipment as needed.
    • Ability to relate well to all staff members and stakeholders.
    • Ability to perform duties with awareness of all district requirements and Board of Education policies.
    • Knowledge of DOE technical applications (i.e. eschool, powerschool Edinsight).
    Standard Requirements
    • Favorable Criminal Background Check for the candidate who is offered employment.
    • Tuberculin test & physical.
    • Mandatory Direct Deposit of paycheck.

    Salary Range: $42,155 - $54,788 plus summer hours
