Comprehensive Induction Program (CIP) video outlines SY2024-25 changes
A brief overview of changes as well as key information related to Delaware’s revised Comprehensive Induction Program (CIP) for school year 2024-25 are outlined in the following video: https://youtu.be/MRKLzaErcMc. Delaware induction has moved from a statewide-only program to a program that shares accountability between the state, districts, and charter schools. The CIP’s collaborative system incorporates DOE, building leaders, coaches, and colleagues to utilize purposeful, local professional learning. Its overall design strengthens instructional and teaching practices for new educators to build self-efficacy, resulting in greater student impact and retention.
