$1,000 SIGNING BONUS - 1 Year; After the successful candidate is hired by The Laurel School District, the Teach Rural Foundation will provide the new staff member with a cashier's check for the full $1,000 signing bonus, provided the candidate agrees to and signs the High Needs Sign On Bonus Agreement
QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Qualify, at time of hire, for State of Delaware certification as a Special Education Teacher of Students with Disabilities (1571) required or Alternative Route to Certification (ARTC) eligible required.
2. Dual certification in a Elementary, Middle Level, or Secondary Content Area required.
3. Applicant must demonstrate a level of knowledge and/or experience appropriate to the position.
4. Favorable criminal background and child protection registry check for the candidate offered employment required.
5. Tuberculin test required.
6. Participation in Direct Deposit required.
