Job Summary:   Crookston Public Schools is seeking a 1.0 FTE Agriculture Educator for grades 6-12 at Crookston Secondary starting Fall 2025. Current classes that have been offered: Intro to Ag I & II, Global Foods, Food Creations, Fish & Wildlife, Companion Animals, Floral Design, Landscape Design, Leadership, and Work Experience. Ideal candidates will be strong in foods, natural resources, and horticulture.

Crookston is located in the heart of the Red River Valley in Northwest Minnesota and has a population of approximately 7,800.  Agriculture is a very strong part of our community.  University of Minnesota-Crookston campus is located here and is a very strong member and supporter of our community.  Located just 25 miles east of Grand Forks, ND, we are close to the University of North Dakota; ample shopping, dining, an international airport and more.  District enrollment size is approximately 1,135 students K-12; with the high school about 600 students in grades 6-12.  We offer an excellent salary and benefits package as per the Crookston Education Association Master Agreement (see https://bit.ly/407rh7s )

Qualifications:  Valid Minnesota teaching license in Agriculture (the District may consider Tier 1 or Tier 2 licenses, or out-of-field permissions).  Prior teaching experience preferred but not necessary.  Individuals who do not have appropriate licensure but possess the necessary skills are encouraged to apply. 

Salary:  Salary will be according to the Crookston Education Association (CEA) Master Agreement Salary Scale and ranges from $45,674 - $71,379 annually.  Excellent Health Insurance benefits package is also offered.
