Crookston Public Schools is seeking applicants for a full-time (1.0 FTE) Special Education Instructor beginning Fall 2025 and beyond.  Applicant must have or be eligible for MN teaching license qualified to teach Special Education.  Preferred licensure in multiple areas including SLD, DCD, EBD, LD, ASD or a combination of these licenses.  Other preferred qualifications include previous related experience and knowledge of Special Education; ability to communicate and connect with students and families; team building skills and the ability to collaborate with staff; and positive interpersonal skills.   Various Coaching and extra-curricular positions are also available.

Crookston, MN is located in the heart of the Red River Valley in Northwest Minnesota and has a population of approximately 7,800.  Agriculture is a very strong part of our community.   University of Minnesota-Crookston campus is located here and is a very strong member and supporter of our community.  Located just 25 miles east of Grand Forks, ND, we are close to the University of North Dakota, ample shopping, dining,  an international airport and more.   District enrollment size is approximately 1150 students, with the high school about 630 students grade 6-12.

Description:  Bus Driver

Job Summary:  Primarily responsible for regular route bus driving along with transportation duties throughout the school day, possibly some evening or weekend trips for athletic events if desired.  This position is a full-time, 9 month position, 8 hours per day with the possibility of working during the summer months if desired.  Starting wage for this position is $25 per hour; Competitive benefit package would include vacation pay, paid holidays, sick leave, Health & Life Insurance  and PERA retirement benefits..

Qualifications:  Must either possess a Bus Driver endorsement on driver's license, or have the ability to get the endorsement.  The School District would assist the person hired to attain this if needed.  Applicant must be able to pass a criminal background check upon hiring and DOT physical, including random drug and alcohol tests during working hours.

Working Conditions:  This position would require a fair amount of work in the outside elements; some snow removal in the winter months and groundskeeping work in the summer months.  This person will be stationed in the brand new bus garage.

Description: Short-call Substitute Teacher for grades PK-12 for school year 2024-2025 

Job Summary:  This position would cover any teacher absences for grades Pre-Kindergarten through grade 12, the grade level may vary from day to day.    Starting pay for this position is $145.00 per day; increasing to $165.00 per day for consecutive days 6-15 in same classroom or assignment..  Starting date is September 3, 2024 or as soon as possible.  This position offers flexibility and variety from day to day.

Qualifications:  Applicant must have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in any field, and hold a Minnesota Short-Call teaching license through PELSB.  The District will assist in acquiring the short-call sub license if applicant does not currently hold one.

Working Conditions:  Work schedule will follow the School District calendar, including days off for Spring Break and other non-school days.  Contract hours per school day are 7.33, which includes 30 minute duty-free lunch period.

Crookston Public Schools is seeking  motivated and dedicated individuals to support our learning environment at Washington Elementary, Highland Elementary, and Crookston High School.  We are seeking a full-time Paraprofessional, 7-8 hours per day, for the 2022-2023 and beyond school years.  Qualified candidates must hold a minimum of a high school diploma or GED; preferred candidate would have two years of post-secondary education.  Salary range for this position is from $15.17 - $17.69 per hour, depending on experience.  Crookston Public Schools offers a very competitive benefit package, including life & health insurance benefits, paid sick leave & personal leave, and paid holidays.  Candidate must submit to a criminal background investigation.

• Behavior aupport which includes physical management (training provided upon hire)
