Job Summary:
 
Hutsonville CUSD 1 is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious individual to join our transportation team as a School Bus Driver. The ideal candidate will ensure the safe and timely transportation of students to and from school, field trips, and extracurricular activities while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
 
Responsibilities:
 
• Safely operate a school bus on assigned routes.
• Follow all traffic laws and district policies.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the bus.
• Maintain order and enforce safety rules among students.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
• Report any incidents, delays, or mechanical issues promptly.
 
Qualifications:
 
• Must have a valid CDL with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements (or be willing to obtain).
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
• Strong commitment to student safety and well-being.
• Excellent driving record.
• Ability to interact professionally with students, parents, and staff.
