    Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated District Psychologist to join our team. The District Psychologist will play a crucial role in promoting the psychological well-being of our students, providing assessment and intervention services, collaborating with educators and families, and supporting the development of a positive school climate.

     

    Key Responsibilities:

     
    • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students' strengths and areas of need.
    • Provide individual and group counseling to students experiencing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges.
    • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other school staff to develop and implement intervention plans tailored to students' needs.
    • Offer consultation and support to teachers and parents regarding students' psychological and emotional well-being.
    • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of appropriate accommodations and goals for students with special needs.
    • Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make recommendations for adjustments as needed.
    • Serve as a resource to school staff on issues related to mental health, behavior management, and crisis intervention.
    • Participate in professional development activities to stay current on best practices in school psychology and related fields.
     

    Qualifications:

     
    • Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
    • State certification or licensure as a School Psychologist (or eligibility for licensure in Illinois).
    • Experience working in a school setting preferred.
    • Strong assessment and intervention skills, including experience with a variety of assessment tools and techniques.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
    • Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of school psychology practice.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
     

    Benefits:

     
    • Starting Salary of 45k to 62K based on experiense
    • Board paid insurance up to $818 per month
