PRIMARY PURPOSE: Plan, provide, and assist with peech-language pathology services to students with speech, voice, or language disorders. Monitor and provide therapeutic intervention to eliminate or reduce problems or impairments that interfere with students’ ability to derive full benefit from the educational program.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification: - Valid Texas license as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) granted by the State Board of Examiners for Speech Language Pathology and Audiology ASHA Clinical Competency Certification
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Knowledge of habilitation, and rehabilitation of speech-language disorders and conditions
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skill
- Ability to travel to multiple work locations as assigned
- Ability to utilize computers and related technology
