The Hampstead School District seeks a dynamic professional to join the Hampstead Central School as a Full-Time Early Childhood and Special Education Preschool teacher beginning with the 2025-26 school year. The successful candidate will demonstrate ability to provide a warm and friendly environment for primarily special education preschool-aged students with a mix of regular education preschool-aged students. The successful candidate will also demonstrate ability to provide authentic learning experiences incorporating play-based activities, pre-academic social/behavioral, fine and gross motor skills, and speech into daily instruction. Other responsibilities include: implementing IEP goals and providing services as identified, consulting and integrating with related services providers and educational associates, communicating with families, and completing special education paperwork and case management requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS
Must have a minimum of Bachelor's degree with NH Education Certification 1866 in Early Childhood Education N-3 and 1912 in Early Childhood Special Education Teacher N-3.

The Hampstead School District seeks a qualified and experienced Middle School (grades 5-8) Special Education Teacher / Case Manager to work with students to ensure that the student's IEP is being followed (accommodations and modifications are implemented and specialized instruction and related services are properly delivered).  The candidate must be able to provide services and specially designed instruction to students whose needs require a significant specialized instruction and curricular modifications. The candidate will have strong organizational skills with proven ability to collect and organize academic and behavior data. The candidate will work within a collaborative team along with the BCBA to implement students' specific behavior plans and will work with grade-level classroom teachers to ensure the students have access to the general curriculum.  

Position
Maximize the learning experience of students with special needs in academics, interpersonal skills, and activities of daily living by implementing district approved curriculum; documenting teaching and student progress/activities, outcomes; addressing students' specific needs; and providing a safe and optimal learning environment. 

Essential Functions 
• Conducts assessments, testing and diagnostic examinations of students for the purpose of identifying learning issues, and recommending courses of action or corrective procedures to overcome issues and maximize learning. 
•  Develops Individual Educational Plans ("IEP") for students. 
• Assists students and teaching staff in implementing students' IEP's and behavior management plans. 
• Coordinates with administrators and other teaching staff members to ascertain individual student's abilities and needs, including students with special needs, and to familiarize stakeholders with social work services. 
• Serves as ready resource to students and parents to provide counseling that will lead each student to increased personal growth, self-understanding, and behavioral management; serves as liaison between home and school. 
• Organizes and maintains a system for accurate and complete record-keeping and providing student information to prospective colleges and employers, as required by district procedures and applicable laws. 
• Encourages parental involvement in students' education and ensures effective communication with students and parents. 
• Selects and requisitions appropriate books, aids, and other supplies and equipment, and maintains inventory records. 
• Ability to modify grade-level work for those students who require curricular modifications in order to particiapte in the general education setting. 
 Additional Duties 
 Performs other related tasks as assigned by the Principal and other Central Office administrators as designated by the Superintendent.

 Qualifications Profile 
 Certification/License: State Certification as a Special Education Teacher.  (NH DOE 1900 General Special Education Required)
 Education:  Bachelors from an accredited college or university in education discipline applicable to teaching assignment. 
 Experience: Successful prior special education teaching experience at the Elementary and/or Middle School level.

Desired Qualifications: 
Masters Degree in an education related area or Special Education 
Experience working with students with emotional and behavioral needs at the Middle School level; minimum 3 years

The Hampstead School District is seeking a school psychologist intern for the 2025-26 school year.  

School psychologist intern applicants must be in their final year of study in a NASP accredited graduate program.

The School Psychologist Intern with proper supervision will perform the typical duties of a School Psychologist which may inlcude but not limited to:
• Performing a minumim of 20 evaluations (psychological, behavioral, adaptive and/or educational)  
• Attending special education and general education meetings
• Consulting with educators, administrators, parents and community resources as needed
• Conducting individual and/or group counseling sessions for students eligible for such as service
• Working collaboratively with the District's School Psychologists
• Completing required special education documentation
• Maintaining a high level of professionalism throughout the school year

The Hampstead School District's Student Services Department is seeking an Administrative Secretary for the Student Services department to begin May 27, 2025.

Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalency
Two years of post-secondary education or equivalent combination of experience and training necessary to perform the job duties.
 
General duties include, but are not limited to, facilitating student services operations, processing invoices, processing contracts, cataloging special education records, data entry in NHSEIS for special education aid, communicating with the NHED, and other duties assigned by the Director of Student Services.
 
May include lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, pushing and walking throughout the work-day.

Full-time year-round position: 8 hrs/day and a half-hour unpaid lunch; 260 days/year.
