POSITION:	Biomedical/Project Lead the Way Teacher at the G. Frank Russell Technology Center
QUALIFICATIONS:	Candidate must obtain certification from the SC State Department Office of Career and Technology.  Must successfully complete Project Lead the Way Training Institute if credential not already held. Must have a willingness/ability to work with students, teachers, and administrators as a team member. Must show effective and demonstrated problem solving, critical thinking, analytical, oral, and written communication, and organizational skills. This position works collaboratively with the Director and designers to maintain classroom tools, equipment, and supplies.
JOB DESCRIPTION:	The Biomedical/Project Lead the Way Teacher will provide strong, effective instruction in the area of college and career readiness skills using an integrated curricular approach.  These courses combine rigorous academics with the knowledege and skills to prepare students for diverse long-term careers in health care, research, specialized laboratory work, education, and management in the biomedical field.
EMPLOYMENT:	190 day contract
SALARY RANGE:	Salary is based on the Teacher Salary Scale.
