    Supervisor:    School Principal
     
    General Job Description: Provide technical support and training for students and staff at a Middle/High School campus.
     
    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Provide technical assistance and training for staff and students in computer lab.
    • Administer the computer lab and the campus network
    • Provide basic software and hardware troubleshooting and repair for campus technology resources.
    • Work with Student Technology Assistance Team students
    • Work with campus Technology Committee to implement campus and district technology plans.
    • Communicate accurately and effectively with staff and students.
    • Maintain up-to-date inventory of campus hardware and software.
    • Other duties as deemed necessary by supervisor.
     
    Qualifications:  High school diploma or equivalency.  One year of experience working with computers or nine (9) hours of college computer coursework.   Ability to work effectively without close supervision and to effectively express oneself in vocal and written communications. Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and staff members.   General clerical and computer skills, including typing/keyboarding.  Good management and organizational skills and knowledge of, or a willingness to learn, network management and security software.
     
    Physical Requirements: Sitting, standing, lifting and carrying (up to 50 pounds), reaching, squatting, kneeling, prolonged typing, physical ability to type on a keyboard terminal, and moving light furniture may be required.
     
    Equipment/Technology Handled: Must know how to properly operate or be willing to learn to operate all multimedia equipment including current technology. 
     
    Work Environment: Must be able to work within various degrees of noise, temperature, and air quality.  Interruptions of work are routine.  Flexibility and patience are required.  Must be self-motivated and able to complete job assignment without direct supervision.  After hour work may be required.
     
    Terms of Employment: Salary and work calendar established yearly by the district and by availability of grant funding. This position will be a fulltime and require 10 days beyond the general teachers contract.
