Library Aide
 
Provide students with learning activities and experiences designed to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society. 
 
 
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Effective communication skills 
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions 
Ability to work independently 
Knowledge of basic computer skills

Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent 

Mental/Physical demands and Environmental Factors:
Maintain emotional control under stress; work prolonged or irregular hours
Regular light lifting and carrying (less than 15 pounds); may lift and move textbooks and classroom equipment 
Work inside, may work outside
Prolonged standing; frequent kneeling, squatting, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling and twisting. 
May have to travel between campuses
Frequent walking
