REPORTS TO: Director of Student Services and Building Principals
 
SALARY: Base: $22,288, then based on experience and education
 
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: 
 
• Administer formal and informal assessments and present findings at eligibility meetings

• Observe students across the educational setting and provide recommendations regarding supports and accommodations for students 

• Serve as a member of students’ IEP team by attending and participating in domain meetings, IEP meetings (when needed), and eligibility meetings

• Serve on the district’s MTSS team

• Participate in professional development and provide professional development, as needed

• Attend problem-solving meetings and offer expertise

• Review eligibility criteria in eligibility meetings

• Participate in 504 meetings, as appropriate

• Other duties as assigned
   
 
QUALIFICATIONS
 
• Master’s Degree

• Professional Educator License to practice K-12
 
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
 
• Excellent data interpretation skills

• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others

• Knowledge of the MTSS process

• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
