VACANCIES: Campus Monitor Substitutes
LOCATIONS: Middlesex Middle School, All Elementary Schools
HOURS: 8 hours per day, hours depending on school hours
COMPENSATION: $19.23/hr.
GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:
Working under the supervision of the Director of Security and School Principal, the Campus Monitor Substitute will help maintain a safe and secure building for the students, faculty, and staff.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties include but are not limited to:
Supervise the flow of traffic in and out of the building
Monitor the “buzzer” entry system for visitors and maintain accurate logs of visitors
Sign in visitors, prepare appropriate badges, and escort visitors as needed
Conduct periodic monitoring sweeps throughout and around the building to check locks, doors, etc.
REQUIREMENTS:
High School diploma or equivalent
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Strong work ethic and organizational skills
Interpersonal skills necessary to relate well with students, staff, administration, parents, and the community
Computer literate
Ability to operate a 2-way radio
Some experience in the safety and security field preferred
